High tech methods are used in Sango's sizing technique
for the catalyst stuffing operation.
Sango's original method, called the PRS method,
allows to measure each catalyst precisely and
provides stability to the catalyst inserted in pipe.
With this Sango converter manufacturing method, each time a product is manufactured, the suitable mat pressure required to retain the substrate in place is precisely measured. Based on this measurement data, the pipe is reduced to the size which will reproduce this pressure level, providing a strong and stable retention of the catalyst. This original Sango process is called the PRS method.
